“The reason I don’t believe in the bsl is not all American Pit Bull Terriers are bad or dangerous. Its how they are raised by the humans. Like they say there are no bad pit bull, only bad owners!! I feel they are one of the most loyal and gentle breeds out there. Punish the deed, not the BREED!!”

“It is unfair to pass any law on a specific breed of dog, just as it is unfair to pass a law on any specific race. The ‘pit bull’ type breeds are  grossly misunderstood and have been negatively sensationalized in the media. Also, BSL does not work. It does not stop irresponsible owners from owning dogs.”

“I use to train dogs and have seen time and again that it is how these wonderfully loyal dogs are treated as to how they act. I don’t understand why people can not see it’s the OWNER not the breed that needs to be held accountable. Pitbulls have been used in the military, on tv, and have been known as WONDERFUL pets that are very person friendly (unless abused, unsocailzed/ neglected, or trained to be be aggressive with people).”
