I used to know what other advocates meant when they used the name “Pit Bull”. Usually it referred to the APBT. Sometimes it encompassed the American Staffordshire Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier as well (the former for all intents and purposes is an APBT anyway; the latter not so much – close enough, though!)
